Windows 10 Free Upgrade Ends Soon! – Grasp 16′

Its official: July 29th 2016 – Windows 10 Free Upgrades Come To An End. We’ve had a year or so now to sit and marinade on the merits and non-merits of Windows 10. All in, whilst it isn’t particularly ground-breaking and is roughly as exciting as Ed Miliband it has brought back a bit of common sense and finally unified all devices without the need for an intrusive start menu ala Windows 8.

Whilst initial early versions of Windows 10 had a few bugs and rough edges, more recent updates seem to have stabilised the platform and its backwards compatibility is pretty good notwithstanding the odd incompatibility here and there.

Microsoft made it clear that the opportunity for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users to upgrade for free to Windows 10 was finite and was to end July 2016 and it seems they are going to stick to this.

So for those who are in need of a bit of an update then now is your chance. For any detailed information about Windows 10 then please contact us here at Grasp directly.
