Dropbox Makes A Bold New Statement – Grasp Support ’14

If it wasn’t already patently obvious to the general public, cloud storage and cloud backup programs are forming the future of how we manage data in our everyday working lives. At the fore front of cloud storage – Dropbox, Googledrive and OneDrive by microsoft are all mindful of the fact that as time goes on, more information and data will be required by people to fulfil their storage needs.

It is with this in mind that Dropbox have announced in the last few days that they are increasing their 100gb storage allowance for Pro users up to a whopping 1TB, which is ten times the existing capacity. What’s more, this significant increase comes with no added costs on top of the existing price of Dropbox Pro at around 6.99 per month.

Whether this is as a result of Microsoft recently offering its 365 customers a similar increase or whether this is just a change that reflects the fact 100GB in current PC usage terms is not all that much for professionals and quickly gets eaten up, it is a welcomed and some might argue overdue upgrade.
