Good news for OneDrive business customers! – July ’14
Microsoft are flexing their silicon sinews once more with the recent announcement of a dramatic increase in online storage capacity for its OneDrive (formally SkyDrive) business customers. Consumers with the Office 365 Enterprise based storage facility can expect their existing 25GB of storage rise to a very respectable 1TB of storage.
Microsoft have announced the additional storage should roll out for existing customers as of July 1st however we can expect the odd delay that has become somewhat customary for Microsoft features whilst the software giant wrestles with making this new facility available to millions of customers globally.

“Why the sudden increase?”
Popular opinion seems to be divided between this simply being a good gesture on Microsoft’s part or whether it is some kind of ploy to lure people into Office 365 Enterprise packages and such benefits as this newly announced wealth of cloud storage.
What is for certain though is that cloud based storage is an ever growing necessity for business’ of all sizes and Microsoft are making a statement of intent to keep their market share of enterprise consumers well catered for within the cloud.
